Information Technology Special Prize Winner
Each year, the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers makes a list of the best candidates on the basis of the National Court Register and indicators developed by the Union. This year a special award was given to Stermedia. In his speech our CEO, Piotr Krajewski emphasized that this award appreciates the work of both the Stermedia team and our Customers. Stermedia.ai, founded in 2009, is a software company, which focuses on developing custom software. Using cutting-edge technologies, Stermedia develops web and mobile applications applying the algorithm of artificial intelligence such as face recognition, image processing, machine learning, big data, data mining. Believing that people are the key to success, we employ top personnel, whose work is fully customer-oriented.
10 Years of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers.
It is the largest organization of employers in Poland mainly representing small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2020, the Union will celebrate its 10th anniversary, therefore it returns to the awards granted to entrepreneurs in the first years of its operation. It organizes them on a local scale, i.e. where small and medium-sized businesses operate most dynamically, and in their nurseries – regions. The Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers chose the best companies in Lower Silesia. The winners include companies from the automotive, medical diagnostics, construction, IT, and food industries, and cosmetics.
COVID-19 Doesn’t Stop Us
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the awards were presented during a virtual broadcast instead of a gala in Wrocław. The event was held under the patronage of the Marshal of the province. Dolnośląskie, the Lower Silesian Voivode and the Mayor of Wrocław. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Legnica Business Club and the Lower Silesian Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers – local organizations implementing company activities for the promotion and development of entrepreneurship in the Lower Silesia region. The main partners of the event are Industrial Development Agency, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development, and the Polish Development Fund.
Qualification Process
As part of the company qualification process, the Association’s experts carefully analyzed the several-year financial results provided by Info Veriti, as well as the business profiles, innovation and development potential, and the reputation of a wide list of companies from the region. After assessing the data, a team of experts selected a group of 48 winners – dynamically operating Lower Silesian enterprises, from which 7 winners were selected.
